Homegrown: A Logo for a Movement

A movement is sprouting up. Communities are putting their hearts and hands into material and cultural self-sufficiency: local food, clothing, commerce, art, stories. We can make things ourselves a little closer to home, step lighter upon the earth, and share good times along the way. Join us!

A friend and I came up with this little logo one evening while drinking tea and discussing the state of our culture. Despite all odds, we are still hopeful and inspired by many of the things we see. Please help us spread the meme!

Stamp the logo on your envelopes and sew the clothes tags (scroll down) into your homemade creations, earth-friendly clothes, and thrift store finds.

Finally, feel free to spread around the homegrown logo to the left in any lovely way you can think up. Please just make sure that your use embodies the values behind the logo. We'd love to know what you do with it, so feel free to drop us a line. (Save to your computer by "drag and drop" to your desktop on a mac or "right click - save as..." on a PC).
