Isn't it wonderful that the word "text" is hiding in the word "texture"?
Here are a series of three-dimensional tactile poems that are sure to delight. A little poetry performance in a tin, it is ready to carry in your pocket or purse for the right moment.
To present the poem to someone, first ask them to close their eyes. Then spell out the poem one letter at a time by placing the wooden letters into the palm of their hand, letting them figure out each letter along the way with their fingertips.
For reference for the performer, each poem is printed on the inside of the lid, so you can remember the text without revealing it to your audience too soon. Instructions are printed on the bottom of the tin, so if you give this to someone as a gift they will know what to do with it.
