I rigged up this bicycle-powered flour mill back in college when I lived in a big co-op. We baked bread daily. I built another one for The Edible Schoolyard in Berkeley, California in 2003, and a third for a friend in 2005.
Made in 2002. I gifted my bicycle flour mill to Full Belly Farm (Capay Valley, CA) in 2018. Go see it in action at their Hoes Down Festival!
