Sugar books of various types.

...leave it for someone else to find.

Sometimes I include "how to play" instructions inside the sugar book. I invite the person who finds it to add their own story, and return it to the dish.

“Sugar books” are for releasing into the world. I remove the sugar from regular sugar packets, add pages, and bind the edge. Then I write sweet words inside: a memory of a thoughtful act, kind words of encouragement, an invitation to strangers to add their own story. Then I sneak sugar books into bins of sweetener packets at coffee shops and restaurants for strangers to stumble upon and enjoy.
