Sending love to a dear friend.

A few weeks before the passing of my dear friend and colleague Amy Krouse Rosenthal, a huge boxful of teacups arrived on her front porch in Chicago. I had sent them to her to accompany a stop-motion film that I made for her — a gesture of love to her and her nearest and dearest. Here I share the film with you too. It’s for all of us, really.

Amy Krouse Rosenthal and I co-authored On The Spot together. We loved to bounce around ideas and were always scheming our next lovely thing.
